100 NEW NATIONAL MISSIONARIES
BEING ADDED! Ben Manis and Wayne
Fagala are currently in the process of adding 100
National Missionaries. They left for Africa on
February 16 where they will be interviewing hundreds
of potential candidates for these National
Missionary positions.
They are look for faithful men who are innovative
presenters of the Gospel, diligent and honest
workers, and who are always looking for an
opportunity to preach Christ. David Okecho and
Ronald Kibumba are two examples of the types of men
Ben and Wayne will be adding to this ministry.
David Okecho is a National Missionary in Uganda.
Death is no stranger to Africa. Uganda is one of the
more developed nations on the continent, yet the
average life expectancy of a child born in Uganda is
just 51 years old. Four percent of the population is
afflicted with AIDS. For every 1,000 infants in
Uganda, 70 of them will not make it past their first
year of life.
Pastor Okecho has ample opportunity to comfort those
who have lost loved ones. In one month last year he
performed more than seven funerals.
Taking his Peavey speaker provided by people like
you, Pastor Okecho shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ
at each and every funeral. Many times, as he
preaches, his voice draws in people from the
surrounding community. In each funeral he preached
at, people came to know Jesus Christ.
Pastor Ronald Kibumba has been discipling other
faithful men and together they are taking the Gospel
to the Muslim population of Busembatia, Uganda.
Using his Peavey speaker system, he began by
preaching in the open markets.
As his message spread, they were invited to speak in
the local schools. The leaders of the community
began to comment on the positive changes in the
students as they gave their lives to Christ.
Now, community leaders are inviting Pastor Kibumba
to come into their homes and speak about Jesus
Christ to their Muslim families. As their ministry
to the community has expanded, they have received
other opportunities to share Jesus Christ.
They were invited to speak to patients who have been
afflicted with AIDS. They are seeing a revival among
this hurting community as they present the hope of
Jesus Christ to those with little or no hope.
The Changing Nations Campaign will put 1,425
faithful men like David Okecho and Ronald Kibumba in
the field. These men are committed to changing their
nations by changing hearts with the Gospel of Jesus
Christ.
