How would you like to be audited every year for the last 17 years? Reaching Souls has. In fact, we’re undergoing an audit right now from an outside independent CPA firm. 17 years ago we joined the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) and began having our books scrutinized. As this ministry has grown over the years, we’ve tried to maintain the same level of integrity in our stewardship as we had when we were a smaller ministry.
Recently, Charity Navigator (a charity evaluator) awarded Reaching Souls with their 4-star rating for sound fiscal management. In a letter we just received last week, they wrote, “We are proud to announce Reaching Souls International has earned our second consecutive 4-star rating for its ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances. Only 19% of the charities we rate have received at least 2 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that Reaching Souls International consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America. This “exceptional” designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Reaching Souls International from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”
As your funding increases, you have more choices in how to spend it, and we want to make sure we’re handling the monies God has entrusted to us in honorable ways. Thank you for your faithful support and pray we remain faithful as well.
