Local Open Air Meeting Successes!

Nzovuni LOAM
December 27th – December 31st
Salvations: 763

During the Nzovuni LOAM, a total number of 763 people confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior. This was a good number to start a new church with. But on the first Sunday after the LOAM, we receive testimony from Pastor Daniel Chai, that on that Sunday there were 154 who attended the service. Daniel believed that others will continue to come, especially during the rains, when there will be much water available. He said the reason to why only these people came is because of the great shortage of water at this time. People travel long distances searching for water. He continued to say that others came to church late while others did not come at all. He requested us to remember him and his church in prayers especially for the water problems. Though he and his church are living in a hard area, he promised to face all the challenges in the name of Jesus Christ.

Mkondoni LOAM

December 13th – December 17th
Salvations: 924

The LOAM was very successful. We worked with three churches as follows: Mkondoni, the hosting church, Mkoudoni Faith Baptist, and Kagombani. During the LOAM, a total of 924 souls were brought to Jesus as profession of their faith in Him. Pastor John Dahm for Mkondoni Baptist Church testified to us that his church and those other two have been having four consecutive Sundays of new believers coming to join church. John Dahm’s church has received a total of 48 new members. Kagombani has 69 new members, and Mkoudoni Faith Baptist has received 72 new members. He believes that they will continue to receive new members.
