  • Kapiri, Malawi LOAM

The Loam was very good God has done the great work on this Loam; Satan wants to stop this Loam. We had tree funerals on these days two of them were in the Village where the Loam was. But God used these funerals to spread His Gospel to many people because we had more chance to preach the Gospel on two of these funerals, where many people who attended these funerals were saved. For Gods wards said in all things God works for good of those who love him. May his name be glorified.

Many Villages in this area were also reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, because on Saturday went out to all Villages in this area to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, where the Group Village Headman Malenga received Jesus Christ to be his Lord and the Savior of his life and many people were also saved

Saturday evening we had a good meeting our missionary Ballich preached good message to many people who came to the evening meetings where 130 people received Jesus Christ to be their Lord and savior. On Sunday many people came to attend Sunday meeting on that day the church were started with the number of 55 people glory be to God. This Sunday we planed to d Baptize many people as you see the number who joined the church but because of the funeral we did not do the Baptism. Pastor Fred Kambanizithe will do the Baptism in two weeks coming of this month of December 2011.

On behalf of the church which was started and my fellow Directors and all missionaries here in Malawi, I thank God for the support we are receiving from Reach souls. Because of this support we are able to reach our people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. May almighty God should bless our Ministry and all who give the support to the ministry.

    Yours in God’s Work,

    George Paul Vindozi

  • Local Open Air Meeting Successes!

    Nzovuni LOAM
    December 27th – December 31st
    Salvations: 763

During the Nzovuni LOAM, a total number of 763 people confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior. This was a good number to start a new church with. But on the first Sunday after the LOAM, we receive testimony from Pastor Daniel Chai, that on that Sunday there were 154 who attended the service. Daniel believed that others will continue to come, especially during the rains, when there will be much water available. He said the reason to why only these people came is because of the great shortage of water at this time. People travel long distances searching for water. He continued to say that others came to church late while others did not come at all. He requested us to remember him and his church in prayers especially for the water problems. Though he and his church are living in a hard area, he promised to face all the challenges in the name of Jesus Christ.

    Mkondoni LOAM

    December 13th – December 17th
    Salvations: 924

The LOAM was very successful. We worked with three churches as follows: Mkondoni, the hosting church, Mkoudoni Faith Baptist, and Kagombani. During the LOAM, a total of 924 souls were brought to Jesus as profession of their faith in Him. Pastor John Dahm for Mkondoni Baptist Church testified to us that his church and those other two have been having four consecutive Sundays of new believers coming to join church. John Dahm’s church has received a total of 48 new members. Kagombani has 69 new members, and Mkoudoni Faith Baptist has received 72 new members. He believes that they will continue to receive new members.

  • Blessed Easter

It has been a blessed Easter to the needy orphans in our area after they received the gift of God which is none other than the eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord and also the gift of food items and second hand clothes from the churches here. Attached are photos taken during the Easter festivities.

As we all know that caring for the orphans is yet another challenge for the church (James 1:27), so four National Missionaries together with me and other three church leaders in this area organized an Easter open air Meetings. The main idea of these meetings was to reach out the orphans for Christ and to show them how God loves them through His Church by distributing to them some food items and clothes. So we mobilized the church members and well wishers to contribute something towards our collection for the needy orphans in our area. We were very encouraged to see how the church members made their commitments to this program. Most of them donated something in the form of maize (corn) flour, beans, salt, second hand clothes and money just to mention a few. We felt it was prerequisite to cherish these needy orphans at the open soccer ground during the Easter festivities so that we could also reach the unreached souls for Christ.

It all started in the afternoon of Good Friday with visitation to the homes where they are keeping the orphans so that we share the good news of Jesus Christ to both the orphans and the guardians and thereafter we were giving them food items and the clothes which we believe helped not only the orphans but the entire family members.

We praise the Lord that during this door to door visitation (one on one witnessing), we saw 26 orphans out of 43 orphans we visited, and 7 guardians accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior though some of them were from the background of Islam. We were also encouraged to see some of these new Christians gave their testimonies to the people at the open air preaching meetings about how they came to know Jesus Christ that day. After one of the National Missionaries, evangelist Mwai Malindima preached, we witnessed how the Lord added the number of those who were being saved to 162.

The following day, Saturday we started teaching the new Christians as we were preparing to baptize some of them the following Easter Sunday. We distributed the tracts to those who attended these meetings and the sweets and biscuits to the children.

Therefore, at the end of the teachings 55 more people accepted Jesus as their Savior also that made Easter this year to net 217 new Christians in total. On Easter Sunday 68 new Christians were baptized by two National Missionaries Pastors Charles Nkolimbo and Gannet Chitedzi and they were helped by another pastor who is not the National Missionary for Reaching Souls International. These National Missionaries together with their Timothies have embarked on follow- up of these new Christians so that they join churches that would feed them with God’s Word for their spiritual growth and services. We are very proud of the solar panel peaveys for the National Missionaries mentioned above because we used them during this Easter festivities and we had no problem of power failure as it was before.

Speaking at the meeting, the chief of the village who is a Christian also, urged the guardians and we Christians, who were present, to continue showing our love to the orphans in order to build them to be responsible future citizens of the world even in Christian circle.
