We receive testimonies frequently in our office. Here is one woman's story.
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ. I wish to inform you that on February 18th, 2011, we had a baptism and Lord’s Supper. 30 People were baptized .This followed an open air meeting in the surrounding area. During the period, 80 people gave their lives to Jesus and out these, 30 were baptized in our church.
The lady in the picture is Mrs. Ester Sakala Banda of Intercontinental Hotel Lusaka, Laundry department. She came to know Jesus during the crusade at Lilanda market. She is married with 5 children. Her husband is Mr. Edward Sakala ,who is a teacher in the government. On those baptized on this day, 10 were men and 20 were females. Of these ladies, 5 are school aged. Of the men, 4 areyoung men who are still at school.
This was a normal or ordinary crusade; it was for three days as from 16th to 18th February, 2011. The testimony of the lady is that her marriage has experienced some break downs because of drinking of beer. And the husband, used to suspect her of committing adultery because of working for the hotel and drinking beer. In Africa, working in a bar or hotel raises a lot of suspicions among some family members. But after knowing Jesus, there is peace in the family and the husband is in the baptism class and will also soon be baptized.

May our good Lord bless you all.
