Prince Studies the Words of Christ
The Nile begins its long trek
to the Mediterranean in Busoga. It is an ancient
African kingdom governed by an ancient family. King
Waako Muloki is the current ruler of Busoga, which
sits on the northern shore of the legendary Lake
Victoria.
Michael Okwogo is a Reaching Souls National
Missionary. His job, as a National Missionary, is to
preach about the coming of the King of Kings, Jesus
Christ.
Michael was introduced by a friend to Dennis Muloki,
the Prince of Busoga. As they spoke, Michael turned
the topic of conversation to the
Gospel...specifically Matthew 28:19-20.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the
Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to
obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I
am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Prince Muloki struggled with alcoholism, and he
rejected the idea that Christ was with us, "even to
the very end of the age."
Michael spoke the Word anyways. After their meeting
he left with the distinct impression that he would
never speak to the Prince again.
To his surprise, Michael's friend called a few days
later.
"The Prince would like to meet with you again and
speak about the Bible."
Michael went to the meeting, and he was shocked when
Prince Muloki pulled out a Bible and asked, "Will
you study this with me?"
Michael and Prince Muloki began to study together,
and the unsaved Prince ate up the teachings of
Christ. He has still not accepted Christ as his Lord
and Savior, but he continues to study and has
started making changes in his life.
As the two continued to meet together and study
God's Word, the Prince's sister, who is a college
student in London, began to join them. When she flew
back to England to resume her studies, she boarded
the plane as new Believer in Jesus Christ.
Please continue to pray for Michael Okwogo and
Prince Dennis Muloki. Michael has specifically asked
for prayer that their studies would lead to Prince
Muloki's salvation.
