We are proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the most people, as quickly as possible, and using the most efficient methods available.

How We Do It
Leadership Development Institute | This ministry grew out of the vision of II Timothy 2:2. Our goal is to train faithful men who will go out and train others. We believe it will be Africans that reach Africa for Christ, Indians for India, and so on. Through Leadership Development Institutes we train native pastors and evangelists to reach their home nations with the Gospel.

I.A.M. | I.A.M. is the acronym for International African Ministries and International Asian Ministries. Through the I.A.M., Reaching Souls supports native pastors and evangelists serving as national missionaries. We support a group of faithful men on a full time basis, empowering them to be His messengers to their own people. Our mission field has become our mission force!

Our goal is to bring as many as possible to the saving knowledge of Christ through the most efficient means available.

In 2006 Reaching Souls’s donation income totaled $1,546,212. During that period of time 606,520 people came to know the Lord through the ministries of Reaching Souls. Reaching Souls was founded on a unique vision from the Lord that allows us to spread the Word of God to a massive amount of people, with the greatest effect and efficiency possible.

Reaching Souls’s vision eliminates travel barriers, cultural barriers, and language barriers. It is economical, time saving and has proven to be an incredibly successful method of reaching the lost.

From the very beginning Reaching Souls sought to train natives to minister to the lost of their native land. We believe that nobody can reach a people group for Christ more effectively and efficiently than those already from that people group. By putting this vision into action, Reaching Souls has developed a level of impact and influence that could have never been accomplished through traditional methods of mission work.

Reaching Souls is currently poised to take advantage of the most incredible opportunities in the history of this ministry. New countries and continents are opening up in a miraculous fashion, and Reaching Souls is taking advantage of these opportunities just as quickly as the Lord makes provision through our ministry supporters.

Children In Need | Reaching Souls is forming families by placing orphans in the homes of native church members who are led by native evangelists supported by you through Reaching Souls. We purchase enough food to feed the orphan and his or her entire “adopted” family, and thereby make the orphan an asset to the family.

Reaching Souls has been preparing itself for this very time in history.  The harvest is now.

Method | The ministry of Reaching Souls is unique in evangelical mission work today. Our vision is to raise up a

 generation of national missionaries in the world’s most densely populated areas. These men would then evangelize to their own countries, then the continent and eventually the entire world. The vision is coming to fruition. The next few years will be crucial as we train, equip, and send more national missionaries into the field than ever before.

After 20 years of major training and evangelism projects in Africa and India, God has led us to 409 faithful men who are now supported full time as our IAM evangelists and church planters in 7 African nations and in India.

Efficiency | If you divide the total income of the ministry over the past 5 years by the number of registered salvation decisions made during the same time span, you will find that the average amount expended to register the salvation of one precious soul has been $1.14.

And even more miraculous is the reality that these numbers also include the cost of all training institutes, travel expenses, Children In Need, all salaries of all Reaching Souls and IAM personnel, and all office operations in the U.S. and abroad!

The people of Africa need to hear the good news of Jesus Christ today. AIDS and malaria will kill over 11,000 Africans in Sub-Sahara Africa today. Over 4 million will die of these diseases in this region over the next year. The average life expectancy in the African nations where we work is just 41 years of age. Bringing the Gospel to these people is an urgent matter.

This is a pivotal time in the history of the world, and as a result, it is a pivotal time for you and Reaching Souls as well. Opportunities are opening up all across the world for the unique ministry and vision we offer. Expansion will continue this year as we enter Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. These are two nations that have been closed by civil war for decades. There are opportunities in South America, Asia and other parts of Africa that are just waiting for the ministry of Reaching Souls.

This vision is in place. The tools have been set in motion. The results are staggering. The Lord is moving through the ministry of Reaching Souls.
